Trolling Report

                             Welcome to Crowley Lake Fish Camp! Trolling action has been Wide open Lots of nice fish are showing up since opener. The water levels are extremely high, this has the trout spread out. So you
want to troll long passes. Water temps have been 60-65 degrees. Trout are holding in 20
to 40 feet of water fishing down around 30ft. (5 to 6 colors on lead core) Hot spots have been
the 395 side between west shores and McGee Bay, in about 30 feet of water, fishing down 25 to 30 feet
(4 or 6 colors on lead core). Sandy point to McGee Bay is fishing well in about 40 feet of water. Trolling
down 30 feet (5 or 6 colors). Best lures have been frog or brown trout Needle fish, frog or brown trout
Thomas Bouyant. Pink, Bloody Ripper, or Bleeding Frog Tasmanian Devil. Rapalas are of course always
worth a try.

      Perch are starting to move into there spawning beds. Action is heating up. Fish in between 10 to 15 feet of water, at a slow troll (1 to 1.5 mph) Or cast and retrieve slowly. Hot spots have been Layton springs, Sandy Point, McGee ,or west shores. Hilton bay is also holding Perch. Best baits are Berkley Power grubs, in brown white, or chartreuse. Tip them with a crappie nibble, and let the fun begin.
