Fly Fishing Report

We are having some really nice days for fishing now, where the winds are holding off, allowing for all day fishing. The surface water temperatures are nearing 70°.  Please do not remove the fish from the water for those glory shots, with these warmer water temperatures, they are easily stressed, and we are trying to maintain this excellent fishery.

The fish have moved into shallower water anywhere from 15-25'.  Look for them around Hilton, Sandy, and McGee.  They are still a little spread out but starting to find them more concentrated in certain areas. You may have to move around a little.  Double digit days are common now.

Midges are still the food of choice, switch up colors and depth until you find what's working. Albinos are best in the morning.  Damsels are showing up so you might want to use that as an upper fly.
